What: Guardians For Animals will be holding its 5th Annual Pet Expo and Adoption Event
When: Saturday, September 18th, from 10 am – 6 pm and Sunday, September 19th, from 10 am – 3 pm

Who: Scratch9 creator Rob M. Worley will be on hand with copies of the first issue of the comic and another new exclusive postcard available to anyone donating to one of the shelters attending the event.
And: Many local area animal rescues will have adoptable dogs, puppies, cats, kittens, pocket pets, rabbits and birds available for adoption during the two-day event.
Attendees not looking to adopt at this time are invited to bring their leashed pets and family members to enjoy the festivities!
Activities will include:
• Demonstrations by the Madison Heights Police K-9s and Ruff Troops
• Vendor Village for economical pet supply shopping
• Best Dressed Pet Contest
• Silliest Pet Trick Contest
• Most Talented Song/Dance Contest
• Pet/Human Look Alike Contest
• Face Painting
• Great Raffle Prizes
• Silent Auction (including Disney World passes, sports memorabilia, pet items and hot air balloon rides)
• Kids Games
Additionally, to help increase awareness on keeping their pets safe, healthy and happy, attendees will have the opportunity to talk with veterinarians, grooming and boarding professionals and sample healthy treats and foods.
Great eats will be supplied by Buffalo Wild Wings.
